![]() Then when he realizes that he’s possibly feeling an emotion, which he shouldn’t since he’s a computer, he starts wanting to be human just to be closer to him. So the idea of Ego getting “attached” to Naegi, and start to wonder about the odd “spark” that occurs in his system when he’s with him, is an adorable concept to me. I see it as even if he isn’t able to “feel” emotions, Ego still tries his best to connect with Naegi every time they start chatting, although he does tend to get confuse with Naegi’s awkward antics. I have been told it’s the same thing as Naehiro, although it is undoubtedly nothing like Naehiro, since Alter Ego is a computer with no emotions. The only ship above them is Naegi/Alter Ego.
